Standing up?!?!

Alyssa is still arming crawling...she will get up on all fours and go one or two steps, but knows she is faster army crawling and will drop and go. She always goes onto her feet and hands with her bum in the air, her body shaped like a V. She also loves laying on her side, and sat herself onto her bum 2 nights ago! Tonight, there was a ball on the stairs that Alyssa wanted, and she pulled herself up onto her feet and grabbed the ball!!! But then she fell back, and LUCKILY landed on a pillow and rolled over!

She is only 6 months and 12 days!!

Milestones!!!

Cooper started preschool this week. We debated if he should start this year. But its $2.00 more an hour than his childcare, so since he would be playing with lots of kids his age, and gets to learn in a group setting, we thought it would be definitely worth it. He LOVES it. After his first day, he was singing "row row row your boat" super loud at Costco, and couldn't get the song out of his head.

Alyssa is now sitting in shopping carts, and sitting in the stroller like a big girl! Its so-o cute! We also went to the park this week, and Alyssa went in the swing, and Cooper went on the big boy swing. He loved it!

Alyssa is 6 months old today. Time sure seems to be going faster with her then I remember with Cooper. We brought up the highchair from the basement this morning, and Alyssa had Rice Cereal for her first time today. It went pretty good, but the poor girl is teething so bad, she kept taking the spoon from me to rub it on her gums!

A day full of laughter

This morning Cooper came up to me, with the Letter E, and said "here, the number H" haha

A little while later, we were in the toy room, and I said "oh Cooper James"
He said "oh Mommy James" lol

Michael was off today. Him and the kids picked me up from work, and we went to Calaway, trying to get one last trip in before they close for the year. It started raining when we arrived, and there was a parade of people just leaving. 20 minutes later, the sun was shining, so we didn't have to wait in line for any rides! :) I knew this was my chance to go on the Log ride, it has been A LONG time since I have been on it, and have wanted to go on it forever! Michael stayed with Alyssa, and Cooper and I went on the log ride. He loved it!
